A bit about where we are and how we came to be...

When We Band Together (WWBT) is a United States and Greek non-profit organization dedicated to supporting refugee women and children at Europe’s entry point, Lesvos, Greece. Founded in 2015 by Zoë Pappis and led by local hero Stavros Myrogiannis, WWBT operates the island’s only safe space education center for women and children, providing a haven of security and growth. Our incredible team is passionate, qualified and committed. We are constantly gorwing and adapting to the very changing comminuties needs and political
